Christmas Cyanotype workshops for blue prints.

Unleash your creativity by taking part in a fun and exciting workshop dedicated to cyanotype, an ancient photographic technique that produces beautiful prints with deep, characteristic blue tones. Guided by Sander, an experienced and passionate photographer, you will discover all the steps necessary to create stunning images using only sunlight and carefully selected natural materials.

The workshop begins with a comprehensive introduction to cyanotype, including the basic principles, the fascinating history of this method, and the essential tools to use.

This is the only cyanotype workshop where you also make your own chemicals to sensitize your own papers to be used during or after the workshop.

You will be invited to carefully choose the elements that will make up your image, such as plants, everyday objects or cut-out images, before learning how to prepare the supports using a photosensitive solution specially designed for this technique.

Sander will guide you step by step through each key stage of the creative process: the careful production qnd application of the product, controlled exposure to sunlight, and then the final fixing of the image. During the workshop, you will have the opportunity to make several prints – usually between ten and twenty – experimenting with different formats, compositions and styles to fully explore your creativity.

This workshop is a unique opportunity to get started with this original and captivating artistic method in a practical and accessible way. You will leave not only with your own prints, but also with all the knowledge and tips you need to continue practising this exciting creative activity at home, at your own pace!
