L’Image élargie: Expo photo Vernissage -Free Opening Night
Join us for the opening of L’image élargie (The Expanded Image), a group exhibition bringing together eight artists working across photography and contemporary art.
Based at the Usquare studios in Brussels, the artists explore the boundaries of photography and rethink the photographic image as a material in its own right. Through encounters with weaving, painting, collage, analogue photography and 3D printing, photography moves beyond the flat image to become texture, pattern, object and sculptural form.
Discover new ways of looking at photography and how images can take shape beyond the photographic print.
Artists: Maëlle Maisonneuve, Meriem Steiner, Colin Fincoeur, Ben Coosmans, Miguel Cipriano, Sander de Wilde, Nicolas Andry and Amandine David.
Curated by Miguel Cipriano. Produced by Image Fantôme.
Venue: Chapelle de Boondael, Square du Vieux Tilleul 10, 1050 Ixelles, Brussels.
