Guided Tour in Dutch — L’image élargie

Date: Sunday, 8 November 2026 Time: 16:00 Duration: Approximately 30 minutes Language: Dutch Location: Chapelle de Boondael, Ixelles, Brussels Admission: Free

Discover L’image élargie with photographer Sander de Wilde

Join photographer and exhibiting artist Sander de Wilde for a guided tour in Dutch of L’image élargie (The Expanded Image), a group exhibition exploring the boundaries of photography and its relationship with other artistic disciplines.

How can a photograph become more than an image on paper or a screen? How do materials, processes and physical forms change the way we experience photography?

During this approximately 30-minute tour, discover the works of eight artists who bring photography into dialogue with weaving, painting, collage, analogue techniques and 3D printing. The tour offers an opportunity to explore the ideas behind the exhibition, look more closely at the artworks and consider new ways of understanding what a photographic image can be.

The tour is led by Sander de Wilde, photographer, photojournalist and one of the participating artists.
