Learn to shoot, develop and print your own b&w photos.
Over the course of five days, KIDS with Cameras have the chance to discover and try their hand at black-and-white analogue photography:
-Print Cyanotypes without a camera:
a unique, traditional printing process that produces photographs in a beautiful ‘Prussian blue’ colour.
-Taking photographs with an analogue camera, developing the negative in a tank and printing on paper in the darkroom.

Note: Participants should bring their own lunch and if possible analog camera. A limited number of loaner cameras are available upon request.

Spend one unforgettable week in August learning analog street photography and hands-on darkroom printing — in the heart of Brussels. This intensive workshop is designed for young kids to be active with photography in a small multilingual group under professional safe guidance.

Who should join
Ages: targeted at kids any age eager to learn analog photography
Bring curiosity more than experience. A working film camera is useful but not required — limited loaners available.
Ideal for kids with guts, aspiring visual storytellers, and anyone who loves tactile craft and urban life.
Logistics
Location: central Brussels/ Ixelles— shooting routes and a fully equipped darkroom at Ur’Square BUS 95 et Gare d’Etterbeek Tram 7/25 all nearby.
Dates: Last week of August
Group size: very small to ensure individualized coaching and a nice atmosphere (6 max.)
Materials: B&W film and darkroom supplies included in fee; bring your camera or borrow one of ours.
