Next-Level photography course 2026 Ixelles

The start of this photo course is planned for january 2026.

Start: review of basic knowledge - discussion of photos - Post-processing - Inspiration better photography. We'll dive deeper into photography techniques and the visual languages of a whole series of interesting photographers. Post production, shooting out of the box, thinking in series, portraits, street, landscape, product, studio lighting, flash photography. A whole range of subjects will come by, in fun and interactive workshops in Brussels.Experimental, creative photography course for advanced photographers In this series of lessons, you will discover the limits and possibilities of photography. We challenge you to consciously break the classic rules so that you can better understand why those rules exist and what creative freedom arises when you dare to let them go.

We move away from safe compositions and perfectly lit images and seek a bold, experimental approach. You will learn how to use photography as an artistic and expressive medium, and how unexpected choices or “mistakes” can actually yield new insights and powerful images.

Who is it for?

You already did a basic photo course Age limit: 16 to 100+. Ideal for those who want to experiment and deepen their knowledge.

Prior knowledge & focus Some basic prior knowledge required. Focus is on content research and creative exploration.

Required equipment Digital camera with manual settings (preferably a system, mirrorless or SLR camera)

Dates are Thursday nights at GC Elzenhof, Avenue de la Couronne 12, 1050 Ixelles starting at 7 PM to 9.30 PM. So 6x 2.5 hrs of intense and fun photography training.

We'll also add daytime visit to a museum or gallery with a photowalk being a practical lesson in street photography. That event date will be decided together with all students.
