An analog photography course full of analog techniques.In 8 intense nights you will learn all steps from shooting in Black and white, development of your own b&w films, and printing your own photos in a real darkroom in Ixelles.

The lessons are in and around our Co’Lab Darkroom in Elsene and Sander speaks English French, German and Dutch so everyone can follow.

You will learn to shoot with an analog camera

You will learn how to develop your own black and white films

You will learn how to print your own negatives into beautiful enlargements.

Sander teaches in English, French and/or Dutch.

When? Starting Tuesday night January 20 2026 from 19.00 to 22.30

First few lessons are at the Cultural Center of Ixelles called GC Elzenhof. In between those course dates I organise open darkroom nights, and a student of the Analog course can attend these nights if you like to familiarise yourself into darkroom techniques with other users.

Where? Our darkroom is at U’square, Avenue de la Couronne 227, 1050 Ixelles

Bring your own analog camera or rent one of us.

We'll provide all the materials during these workshops; (one b&w film 135, some b&w papers 10x15 cm., all chemicals) but you can bring your own photographic multigrade paper, or buy extra when needed during the classes per sheet.
