Capture the City, Master the Darkroom.
Step away from the screen and into the grain. This intensive 5-day workshop is designed for young adults who want to master the art of traditional black-and-white photography. We will spend our mornings exploring the raw, urban landscape of Brussels and our afternoons in the darkroom at Usquare, turning film into silver gelatin prints.
What you will learn:
- The Street: How to approach subjects, frame urban architecture, and "see" in black and white.
- The Chemistry: Developing your own 35mm or 120mm film from scratch.
- The Print: Mastering the enlarger and chemical baths to create your own physical prints.
- The Story: Editing your week's work into a cohesive series.
