Exploring Different 2026 Photography Workshops

I don’t just take pictures; I love teaching photography.

For me, the best way to learn is by doing and feeling inspired every step of the way. With years behind the camera in Brussels, I know that learning from someone who’s genuinely passionate makes your skills stick—and more personal.

My style? Fun, hands-on, and laid-back, so you actually enjoy the process. Whether you’re into portraits or visual stories for media and businesses, travel photography, animal photography or experimental and analog photography, my lessons help you see the world differently and capture photos that truly matter.

Teaching isn’t just something I do on the side—it’s how I help others become real artists. Talking art… Yes photography is an art and in my 2026 courses I have hidden some new angles.

Exploring different 2026 photography workshops

Sander developed new workshops starting January 2026 and he’s happy to share them here.

The hybrid/experimental course

The hybrid/experimental course is designed for photographers who have grown tired of the flawless, predictable Instagram shots and are eager to break free from conventional digital standards. Together, we will delve into a creative journey combining both analog and digital experimentation. Our sessions will begin at GC Elzenhof, the vibrant cultural center of Ixelles, where initial ideas will take shape. Later, in our dedicated analog photo lab, you'll get hands-on experience by creatively destroying your negatives, printing them using kid-friendly printers, exploring the unique textures of analog black-and-white photo paper, and cutting up prints to craft imaginative collages. This course invites you to challenge traditional photography boundaries and discover playful new ways to express your vision.

The Analog photography course

The Analog photography course invites you to dive deep into the world of analog photography from A to Z. Did you find an old camera tucked away in your parents’ attic? Perfect! Together, we’ll explore the art of black and white seeing, learning how to frame the world with a keen focus on composition. You’ll experience everything from shooting your images to developing the film and printing in the darkroom under the mysterious glow of red light, using multi-grade filters to bring your photos to life. By the end of this course, analog photography won’t just be a skill—it will have become your exciting new hobby!

Advance Photography Course

And last but definitely not least, I am excited to finally announce that I have developed a brand-new course specifically designed for people who have been asking me to create something just like this. This course is perfect for photography hobbyists who have already taken various photography classes but now want to dive much deeper into the art and craft of photography. Together, we will explore the work of inspiring photographers, visit fascinating festivals and galleries, and significantly deepen your technical knowledge.

By studying the work of other photographers and engaging in hands-on exercises, you will be able to elevate your skills and develop your photography to an entirely new, more advanced level.

The Street photography Course

Yes, you can already book your spot for the upcoming street photography course. Just like every year, this highly engaging and very intense street photography workshop series includes numerous weekend walks through the vibrant streets of Brussels, enriching evenings dedicated to learning and discussing photography techniques, and it all culminates in an exciting exhibition showcasing your best street photography prints throughout the entire summer here in Brussels. This course starts in April and it ends with the opening of the exhibition in June. Reserve your ticket now, it’s popular!
